Eight people have been arrested following anti-terror raids last night and this morning
Scotland Yard said the eight arrests, of five men and three women, were linked to their ongoing investigation into the horrific terror attack in Westminster.
Four people, including terrorist Khalid Masood, died in the London terror attack, which took place in the heart of the city.
A statement released by the Met Police said eight people were arrested “on suspicion of preparation of terrorists acts”.
Four men, aged 23, 28, 27 and 26, and two women, aged 21 and 26, were arrested at two addresses in Birmingham overnight.
Another 39-year-old woman was arrested in east London, also overnight.

And this morning a 58-year-old man was arrested at a third address in Birmingham.
The 39-year-old woman has been detained under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act, while the remaining seven have been detained under the Terrorism Act.
Police are continuing to search the Birmingham and London addresses, as well as another property in Carmarthenshire, Wales.
