Raheem Sterling scores Man City's opener
Raheem Sterling got the opening goal for Pep Guardiola's men, who move second in the Premier League and eight points off Chelsea, before a Tyrone Mings own goal rounded off the game.
But the manager was left with a headache over Jesus after Manchester City's new talisman went off after 14 minutes with a foot injury.
Sergio Aguero replaced the Brazilian – not a bad substitution to make – and made a point to his manager after being benched for the previous three games.
Aguero was his usual combative self with an added needle on a night that could prove to define the Argentine's future at City.

Aguero had little to do with Sterling's opener as Leroy Sane's flow cross was deflected up into the England international's path to tap home at the far post.
But Aguero did get a toe in to force the second goal, in which the ball deflected off Mings and into the net.
Bournemouth thought they were level seconds after Sterling's tap-in when Josh King found the net, only for referee Neil Swarbrick to bring back play for a shirt pull.

The Cherries had their chances to get back into the game, while City should really have doubled their lead when Aguero smashed a volley wide of the mark from six yards.
Sane himself hit the crossbar late on as City waltzed around their hosts playing keep-ball.
And they are not the only ones coming out of the game with an injury worry as Jack Wilshere, on loan at Bournemouth from Arsenal, came off before half time with an ankle problem after an ineffectual 45 minutes in the middle of the park.
