The "budget" floral armchair looks as though it could be purchased from a high street shop, whereas previous series have seen futuristic and uniques chairs that wouldn't be seen anywhere else.
Big Brother's all new Diary Room chair is "befitting a picture perfect British village" surrounded by grass and a countryside backdrop.
One disappointed fan tweeted to ask: "Is it from a skip? The amount of effort that usually goes into the chair… then this."
"I like the background but the chairs like me Nan's couch," teased another.

A third mocked the chair, posting: "Woah they've pushed the boat out a bit."
Other fans of the show were pleased with the new look, with many agreeing that it "fitted the theme" for 2017.
One viewer even gushed: "Fits the theme! I actually quite like it lol. Wouldn't want the chair in my house in a million years but it works. Love the grass! #bbuk."
It comes as Channel 5 announced their launch show twist, with Big Brother handing over power to the public for the first time ever.
