The 25-year-old has signed a new deal that keeps him at the Nou Camp until 2022, the club confirmed on their website this afternoon.
He now has a buyout clause of €180m (£157m) in his new deal and will officially sign the new contract at 1.30pm CET tomorrow.
Ter Stegen has won nine trophies with Barca in three seasons and has been a large part of Barca’s success in recent campaigns.
He currently boasts two league titles, three Copa del Reys, one Champions League, one Club World Cup, one Spanish Super Cup and one European Super Cup to his name.
