Ernesto Valverde to leave Athletic Bilbao at the end of the season
Barcelona are in the market for a new manager after Luis Enrique, 46, announced he will end his three-year stint in charge this summer.
Valverde, 53, has been one of the names tipped to become Enrique's successor at the Nou Camp.

And according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Valverde has opted to leave Athletic Bilbao at the end of the season when his contract expires.
Valverde arrived at the San Mames Stadium four years ago, guiding Bilbao to the Spanish Super Cup in 2015 and to European qualification in each of his seasons in charge.
Bilbao president Josu Urrutia has reportedly been made aware of the Spaniard's decision and will attempt to convince him to sign an extension.

Barcelona will have to wait to make their move, though, with Valverde unwilling to listen to any offers until his contact expires on June 30.
Valverde spent two years at Barcelona as a player, winning the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and Copa del Rey before joining Bilbao in 1990.
