Arsene Wenger not paying attention to new Arsenal contract

Wenger is out of contract at the end of the season and is said to be undecided on whether to extend his 20-year stay at the north London club.

The Gunners boss reportedly has a two-year offer to remain at the Emirates past the summer, but is not thinking about his own future.

Arsene Wenger only focused on improving Arsenal performances

Arsenal saw their title hopes collapse in their 3-1 defeat to Premier League leaders Chelsea last time out and Wenger is only focused on improving his side's performances.

“Thank you for taking care about my future but that’s not the most important," Wenger said when asked if he has a contract offer.

“My future is in front of me every time I take a half turn. What is important is that Arsenal performs well.”

Who are the favourites to replace Arsene Wenger at Arsenal?

And on the Arsenal fan who called for 'Wenger Out', the Frenchman added: “We focus on the next game and do not give importance to one fan.

“You cannot be a fan on Tuesday and then not a fan on Saturday.

“In the football club it is important for different opinions but we focus on what matters to us – not the opinions of people – but the next match.”
