ARSENE WENGER has been called many things during his 21-year reign at Arsenal – but a tease is not one of them.

At his weekly press conference, the Arsenal manager has often fielded questions about his own contract.
Now it's the turn of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, who are stalling on new deals, to provide the hot topic of conversation.
Even Wenger was surprised when, for once, he did not have to answer whether his key duo were staying.
"I won't ask you about Sanchez and Ozil again, but…" came the question from one of the press pack.
"Oh, you can if you want.' was Wenger's reply.

'So is there news?’ the reporter said hopefully.
'No,' smirked Wenger.
The light exchange shows that Wenger enjoys holding court. And, to his credit, there is nothing the Frenchman won't answer.
From Marco van Basten's radical rule changes he wants introduced to the Chinese Super League takeaway, Wenger will always have his say.
And he does it with a glint in his eye for good measure.

Santi Cazorla is no closer to a return from injury
Arsenal fans would love Wenger to shake-off his prudent approach and spend in January.
Santi Cazorla is no closer to a return while Grant Xhaka and Aaron Ramsey are still yet to hit their straps as Arsenal's title hopes fade away.
Wenger, at least, didn't sit on the fence on this subject. And there was no such teasing required.
"I expect it to be a very quiet period because we have (Danny) Welbeck coming back now offensively, we are very strong," he said.
"We have many, many players who can come in and overall I don't expect to do anything special.”
