Arsene Wenger wants Arsenal fans to be more like Tottenham's
Arsene Wenger has come under fire this week from the Arsenal fans following back-to-back defeats in the Premier League.
The Gunners were beaten 3-1 by Chelsea last weekend and also lost 2-1 to Watford at the Emirates, meaning they have slipped to fourth in the table.
And Wenger has risked a further backlash from supporters by calling on Arsenal's fans to be more "united" like their rivals Tottenham.
"Of course, our fans have been consistent and have a high level of expectation, as I have as well," Wenger said.
"But I don't feel it is absolutely clear.
"You cannot be a fan until last Tuesday and not be a fan anymore and not be behind the team this Saturday. It doesn't make sense!
"We are in a fight. We absolutely have to be united or we have no chance to do it.
"You have Tottenham – everyone is in the fight and everyone is behind their team.
"We have to do exactly the same, even if we had two disappointing results."
