Arsenal may face having to pay a club record fee for Alexandre Lacazette after Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas hinted the striker was worth the same as Antoine Griezmann.
Griezmann has a £86million release clause in his contract and is wanted by the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid.
Arsenal bid £29.3m for Lacazette last summer and are reportedly ready to reignite their interest in the player.
When asked what he would sell Lacazette for, Aulas told French newspaper Le Progres: “We have rejected offers worth around €40m. I am hearing talk about €100m for a Griezmann transfer to Real Madrid.”
