Mesut Ozil has come under fire this season for his below-par performances.
The Germany international has scored five Premier League goals this season – the same tally he managed for the whole of last season – but it's his lack of assists compared to the 2015/16 campaign that has led to the criticism.
The 28-year-old topped the assists chart with 19 in the Premier League last term but has seen a significant decline, setting up just four goals this campaign.

But Ozil was keen to point out his personal achievements throughout his career in response to his critics.
And he believes he is being made a scapegoat for Arsenal's dismal form of late.
“People know what I have achieved,” Ozil told German outlet Sport Bild.
