Inter Milan have reportedly made an approach for Alexis Sanchez
Alexis Sanchez has been locked in contract talks with Arsenal for months and is no closer to agreeing a new deal with the club.
Arsene Wenger has confirmed negotiations with the Chile international have been shelved until the end of the season.
And according to Italian website CalcioMercato, Inter Milan have already begun putting together an offer for the 28-year-old.
Alexis Sanchez reportedly wants a £165,000-a-week contract
The report says the Serie A giants have begun preliminary talks with the Chile star's representatives.
However, negotiations are said to be slow-going due to Sanchez's hefty £165,000-a-week wage demands.
The Gunners are said to have been put off by the figure and Inter are also reportedly unable to match his demands.
