Diego Simeone could leave Atletico Madrid at the end of next season
Simeone has won plenty of admirers during five seasons managing Atletico Madrid, where he has won five trophies including La Liga and the Europa League and coming runners-up in the Champions League twice.
Arsenal are on the lookout for a new manager with Arsene Wenger’s current contract expiring at the end of the season.
Express Sport understands Arsenal are in talks with Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri and have also made contact with RB Leipzig manager Ralph Hasenhutt.

But should Wenger decide to stay on, Argentinian Simeone could come into their thinking.
The 46-year-old is contracted to Atletico until the summer of 2018, but could then look to move to the Premier League.
“He is very comfortable in Madrid. But I think that at some point, a change will come,” Simeone’s father Carlos told Argentinian newspaper La Nacion.
“Italy, England, I don’t know, but it will come. I am with him in waiting a couple more years.
“As of today, he needs weekly work, the match every Sunday. I think between the ages of 50 and 55 he will go to the national team.”
Simeone’s Atletico are struggling in La Liga this season, currently sitting fourth 10 points behind leaders Real Madrid.
