Arsene Wenger was sent down the tunnel early by referee Jon Moss

Arsene Wenger was sent down the tunnel by referee Jon Moss following his reaction to Burnley's late penalty.

The away side were awarded a spot-kick after Francis Coquelin brought down Ashley Barnes which caused Wenger to lose his cool.

Wenger pushed the fourth official, leading to ugly scenes on the touchline.

And Wenger has apologised for his behaviour, claiming he was frustrated at the prospect of dropping two points at home.

"A bit of both. I didn't see any penalty from outside but I should have shut up and I apologise, even if I was frustrated," Wenger said.
