Arsenal are looking to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat to Chelsea last time out when the Tigers pay a visit to the Emirates on Saturday (12.30pm).

The Gunners sit 12 points behind league leaders Chelsea and Arsene Wenger is desperate to do all he can to ensure their slim title hopes remain alive, as well as keeping distance from Liverpool and Manchester United chasing a top four finish.

And according to the Daily Star, Wenger is considering dropping Cech in place of David Ospina.

Cech has endured mixed fortunes this season in between the sticks and he was at fault for conceding Chelsea's third in their last outing.

The report claims the coaching staff at the club are concerned by the 34-year-old's form, in particular his kicking.

After Hull, Arsenal face Bayern Munich in the first leg of the last-16 Champions League tie when Ospina is expected to feature.

David Ospina could start against the Tigers

The Colombian has played in all of Arsenal's European fixtures this season, while Cech has solely been used for league matches.

And giving Ospina the chance to play against Hull would be ideal preparation for him ahead of their trip to the Allianz Arena.

Dropping Cech would be a huge call for the French boss though, with Cech having started all 24 of Arsenal's Premier League games this season.
