On Twitter, the AST said they had been in contact with the club and were told 'a mutual decision was to be taken at end of season'.

They added: "AST also reiterated (the) view of our members that it was time for Wenger to go. These views are factored into the review [Ivan] Gazidis is undertaking."
In March a poll of the AST's 1,000 members found that 78 per cent of respondents have lost faith in Wenger and feel he is no longer the right man for the job.
