Arsenal have reportedly activated Henry Onyekuru's release clause
Henry Onyekuru emerged as an Arsenal target earlier this month following his impressive campaign with Eupen in the Belgian top-flight.
The winger scored 24 goals in all competitions for the Pro League side and is said to have caught the eye of Gunners scouts.
Sky Sports News claim the north London club have now made their move for the 19-year-old, activating his £6.8million buy-out clause.
And Arsene Wenger is said to be confident of getting a deal over the line for the Nigerian, despite personal terms not yet being agreed.

Arsenal are expecting to sign Onyekuru when he returns from international duty with Nigeria next week.
The teenager is currently away with Salisu Yusuf's side who face Togo in a friendly in Paris tomorrow night (6pm).
The Gunners are said to have seen off competition from a number of Premier League rivals to land Onyekuru, including Everton, Southampton and West Brom.
He was a product of Qatar-based football academy Aspire for five years before being snapped up by Eupen in 2015.

Predominantly a left-sided winger, Onyekuru can also operate down the middle as a striker and on the right flank.
And he has already received the backing of Arsenal legend Ian Wright who tweeted his support for the relatively unknown teenager.
"Remember watching the news when I signed for Arsenal, fans said, 'why we signing him?' Good luck to you Henry.I found the way to shut them up," he wrote.
