Antonio Conte was pleased with Chelsea star Diego Costa
Costa missed last weekend's 3-0 win over champions Leicester after a disagreement with a fitness coach following reports of Chinese Super League interest.
But the Blues' top scorer returned against Hull and converted Victor Moses' low cross from eight yards out to put Chelsea ahead.
Gary Cahill added a second when he headed home Cesc Fabregas' free-kick in the second-half to seal the 2-0 win.
