Antonio Conte reportedly wants Romelu Lukaku and Joao Cancelo

Chelsea are on track to win the Premier League in Antonio Conte's first season in charge.

However, Conte is not resting on his laurels and has reportedly already rolled out plans to strengthen his squad for next season.

Yahoo Sport claim the Italian has identified two priority targets for the summer – Everton striker Romelu Lukaku and Valencia defender Joao Cancelo.

The report says Conte is insisting on bringing Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge in case Diego Costa chooses to leave.

Lukaku left Chelsea for Everton in a £28million deal in 2014 and signed a new £100,000-a-week contract at Goodison Park in December with an £80m release clause.

Spain international Costa was courted by Chinese club Tianjin Quanjian last month, who offered him a contract worth around £600,000 a week.

Chelsea are yet to make Costa a counter offer and his current deal with the club runs until June 2019.

Also on Conte's wishlist is said to be Valencia right-back Cancelo.

The Blues reportedly tried to sign the 22-year-old in January but were rebuffed by the Spanish side who are struggling in La Liga this season.

But Yahoo Sport say Valencia may be open to a sale this summer for a fee of around £25.6m.

Cancelo would easily slot into Conte's 3-4-3 formation as he often operates as a right-winger and is a natural replacement for Branislav Ivanovic who joined Zenit St Petersburg on deadline day.
