Angelina claimed she missed her mother Marcheline 'more than ever' following her divorce from Brad
The actress, who filed for divorce from Brad, 53, last year, says her mother’s guidance is missed now more than ever.
“I would give anything for her [Marcheline] to be with me at this time,” says the Tomb Raider star.
“I’ve needed her. I talk to her often in my mind and try to think what she might say and how she might guide me.”
The 41-year-old who co-parents Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, and Shiloh, 11, and twins Vivienne and Knox, eight, with the actor, also says she’s disheartened that the children won’t know their grandmother, who lost her battle with ovarian cancer in 2007 at the age of 56.
“I know how much she would have contributed to their lives and I am sad they will miss out on that.”
Marcheline, who had small roles in movies – including 1983’s The Man Who Loved Women – raised Angelina and brother James Haven, 44, as a single mum after divorcing their father, Oscar-winning actor Jon Voight, in 1980.
The star has previously spoken about how she keeps her mother’s memory alive, including her decision to be the face of a new perfume from Guerlain, her mother’s favourite perfumier. In 2015 Angelina had her ovaries removed because she harboured the BRCA1 gene, which put her at a 80 to 90 per cent higher risk of cancer than women without the gene.
She also had a preventive double mastectomy in 2013.

LAST year’s Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown may be the reigning queen of cakes but she confesses that even she still has baking disasters.
“Oh gosh, yeah. But if something doesn’t work, throw it away and don’t tell anyone or make it into something else. If your sponge doesn’t rise, cut it up into lots of little ones or mix it up into an Eton Mess and say it’s a deconstructed Victoria sponge. Wing it and say, ‘It was meant to be like that’.”

Meanwhile 32-year-old former teacher Candice, famed for her trademark bright lipstick, admits she’ll still be tuning in to the new Channel 4 version of the show with only Paul Hollywood remaining from the original presenting team and has some style advice for contestants too.
She suggests: “Have fun… and invest in a good concealer. I was like, ‘Right, I’m tired but I’m just going to whack on the concealer’.”

CAT DEELEY watches her wedding video whenever she’s drunk. The So You Think You Can Dance presenter admits that she and her husband Patrick Kielty frequently view the fi m of their big day after a couple of tipples.
“We love it and after two glasses of wine Patrick and I put it on like a pair of losers,” says the 40-year-old US TV host.
Light-headedness aside, Cat, who has 16-month-old son Milo with comedian Patrick, 46, primarily gets stuck into the footage for more serious sentimental reasons.
The couple had the ceremony fi lmed when they married in Rome in 2012 because Cat’s grandfather couldn’t make their big day. “When Patrick and I got married my grandfather was ill and my mum asked me for a wedding video."

“At the moment I’m catching up with [crime drama] The Killing while I’m on the treadmill,” says the Spice Girl turned fashion designer.
Meanwhile the woman who brought out her own clothes label in 2008 insists despite spending almost a decade in the fashion industry the nerves don’t get any better ahead of a show.
The 43-year-old says: “You are constantly questioning yourself. An enormous amount of work goes into it – more than most people would think. And it’s not just the clothes it’s the casting, the music, the venue.
So many people put in a lot of time, effort and energy away from their families to create a collection.”
Jo Wood claimed her ex-husband Ronnie will be fine after having a lesion removed from his lung
AFTER successful surgery to remove a lesion from his lung, Ronnie Wood will be fine, his ex-wife insists.
She said that fans have absolutely nothing to worry about as it will take more than a small operation to slow him down.
“He will bounce back. He is as tough as anything – he is fine. It’s just a minor thing,” Jo Wood, who was married to the rocker from 1985 to 2011, tells Day & Night.
She adds that with the Rolling Stones set to hit the road again, he doesn’t really have any choice in the matter anyway:
“He’s got to be back. He’s going on tour isn’t he?” As we reported last week Ronnie, 69, thanked doctors and insisted it wouldn’t stop him taking part in the upcoming Stones tour.
Tess Daly is determined to throw some shapes on the Strictly Come Dancing dance floor
HAVING supported a host of anxious celebrities through 12 series of Strictly, host TESS DALY’s now ready to throw some shapes on the famous dance floor.
The 48-year-old admits she often fancies having a twirl herself, particularly when she sees amateurs develop into decent dancers.
“I do watch the celebrities – particularly those who haven’t danced before – and you see them learn a new skill and how they blossom. There is a part of me that thinks: ‘I’d love to be able to do that!’” says Tess.
Revealing her ideal dance partner would be ANTON DU BEKE, she adds: “C’mon, Anton, give me a twirl, give me a dip, lift me up.”
Calm down, dear.
