Things to ask Amazon's Alexa
Amazon's Echo speaker was the surprise hit of 2016.
This internet connected gadget uses the power of your voice to search for popular music, radio stations and audio books.
But it's not just music that's made the Echo a must-have device.
Amazon's speaker has a clever virtual assistant tucked inside called Alexa, who can answer all sorts of questions.
A simple voice command will have Alexa finding the local weather, checking travel updates and reading the latest news reports.
There's even a hidden trick inside the Echo which wakes you via the voices of a rather obnoxious Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May.
Alexa has hundreds of answers to hundreds of questions and, if you've just bought one of these gadgets from Amazon, here's some questions you need to ask Alexa right now.

Alexa working in a Ford car as a personal assistant
Expect to see Alexa appearing in more gadgets this year with companies including Ford joining the voice search revolution.
Alexa's integration into Ford's cars will allow owners to play and resume audiobooks, order items on Amazon, search for and transfer local destinations to the in-car navigation system, and more.
From the summer drivers with Ford SYNC 3, will be able to ask Alexa to read weather reports, play music, check news, add items to shopping lists and more – all from their car.
The benefits of this collaboration don't just start in the car as, from home, Ford owners will be able to remote start, lock or unlock doors, and get vehicle information using voice commands.
Alexa is also being included in a number of non Amazon speakers including a new device from Lenovo.
Along with a standard speaker, Lenovo will launch a special Harman Kardon edition for premium audio quality and home entertainment.
