This former courthouse is on the market for £525,000
It would almost be criminal to miss out on the 720-year-old house, which is on the market for just £525,000.
The grade I listed building in Caernarfon, Wales, originally served as the town's county hall, before becoming a magistrates court.
However, more recently it has been converted into a beautiful, eccentric, eight-bedroom property just a stone's throw away from Caernarfon Castle.
The building's former courtroom has now been turned into quite possibly the most remarkable lounge in Wales.
The original roof dome remains intact, and it has a glass lantern and beautiful ceiling patterns.

It also boasts its own public viewing gallery, and the entire room is so large that furniture seems to shrink in size.
To add to the atmosphere, the room also has the court's wood paneled screen with the doors where the guilty would be 'sent down' for their crimes.
If guests become a little too rowdy, the three former courthouse cells and the old guardroom through those doors also come with the property.
The building is over 700 years old and is grade I listed
The rest of the house is just as quirky as it maintains much of the original character and many original features.
Not all of the building has been completely refurbished, so it offers something for developers to get their teeth stuck into.
According to the website British Listed Building, the former court became a listed building in 1953 as it is: "An exceptional work of C19 civic architecture, forming the principal component of a group of public buildings including the police station and former jail, and for its contribution to the setting of Caernarfon Castle."
