Aliens have not been found because they are in HIBERNATION, claims shock new theory
The Fermi Paradox states that as the universe is potentially infinite, it should essentially be teeming with life, so why have we not found any evidence yet?
One theory to explain this is that a civilisation essentially becomes so big that it becomes impossible to sustain itself and dies out.
Another is that there simply is no other life out there.
However, a team of researchers have now proposed a third option, theorising that advanced aliens may in fact be in hibernation.
Aliens could be in hibernation
Oxford neuroscientist and AI expert, Anders Sandberg and Stuart Armstrong along with Milan Ćirković from the Astronomical Observatory of Belgrade argue that extremely advanced beings have explored the universe, and are now waiting until the universe is cooler to process the date.
In a blog post, the trio explain: “Maybe we are not seeing alien civilisations because they are all rationally ‘sleeping’ in the current early cosmological era, waiting for a remote future when it is more favourable to exploit the resources of the universe.”
The universe could belong to just us
They add: “Information processing requires physical resources, not just computers or brains, but energy to run them.
“There is a thermodynamic cost to perform information processing that is temperature dependent: in principle, running processing become 10 times more efficient if your computer is 10 times colder (measured in Kelvins).

The Crop Circles are often believed to be created by aliens, as there is no proper explanation behind this phenomenon.
“Right now the cosmic background radiation makes nearly everything in the universe hotter than 3 Kelvin, but as the universe expands this background temperature will decline exponentially.
“So if you want to do as much information processing as possible with the energy you have it makes sense to wait.
“It becomes exponentially better.”
