Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez wants to force through a move to Manchester City or Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte views the 28-year-old as the perfect fit for his 3-4-3 system and he could replace Diego Costa, who has been heavily linked with the Stamford Bridge exit door.
It is suggested the player’s representatives met with Chelsea and Manchester City to try and force through a transfer.
However, Arsene Wenger is confident Sanchez and Mesut Ozil will stay at the club as he bids to kick start a new era after signing a new two-year deal last week.
“They will stay at the club and hopefully we can extend their contracts,” Wenger told BeIN SPORTS last night.

“You cannot weaken the club and weaken the team. You want to strengthen the team. Unless you find a player of the same calibre.
“When you sign a contract somewhere, you commit to give your best until the end of the last day of your contract. I would say, why should they not give their best?”
The report adds that City are the frontrunners for his signature with the club willing to offer him the £300,000—a-week wages he has been looking for.
Sanchez will apparently become City’s top earner and they have been buoyed by the forward having no qualms about moving north.
Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are also said to be keen on signing him.
