Arturo has told Alexis Sanchez to leave Arsenal for Bayern Munich
Alexis Sanchez is approaching the final year of his contract with Arsenal and is yet to agree new terms with the club.
The 28-year-old has been linked with a number of high-profile moves this summer, including to Manchester City and Bayern Munich.
And according to his Chile international team-mate Arturo Vidal, Sanchez should come and join him at Bayern.
"I told him it was the opportunity for him to be in a big team," Vidal said to reporters ahead of Chile's friendly with Burkina Faso on Saturday.
Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are reportedly both set to leave Arsenal
"If he wants to compare with the best, he has to go to the best team."
Vidal's comments came after he revealed he has been in regular contact with Sanchez via WhatsApp in an attempt to convince him to join Bayern.
And The Times suggest the 30-year-old's tactics have had the desired effect as the Arsenal star is reportedly now bound for the Allianz Arena.
The report says Sanchez will push for a move to the Bundesliga champions, while Mesut Ozil will also look to leave.

The Germany international, who is also approaching the final year of his contract, is said to be running it down to leave on a free transfer next summer.
The Gunners have acted to try and keep both players at the club, offering them record deals to stay.
Sanchez is said to have been tempted with £270,000 a week plus bonuses, while Ozil has been offered a £220,000-a-week deal with add-ons.
Both of their contracts expire in June 2018.
