Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey insists Arsenal deserved the win against Burnley

Shkodran Mustafi gave Arsenal the lead with his first goal for the club but the Gunners went down to 10 men after Granit Xhaka saw red.

Burnley thought they had earned a point after Andre Gray fired home from the spot after Francis Coquelin's foul, but a late Sanchez penalty sealed a 2-1 win for Arsenal.

And Ramsey insists the Gunners got what they deserved.

"It was a lot of minutes added on but we dug in," Ramsey said.

"It’s not easy with 10 men but we dug in and got what we deserved in the end.

"It’s important to keep playing.

"We always know we can create chances even with 10 men.

"They went a lot more direct [after the red card], they brought on Sam Vokes and he’s dangerous and brought other players into the game, but the defence dealt with it pretty well."
